Lewiston Auburn Chiropractor – House Calls
My parents visited Maine the second summer I lived here.
We played hard and conquered one major home improvement project, thanks to my generous and skilled father and his 45 years experience as a residential home builder.
They flew into the Portland Jetport and were picked up by my beautiful wife Meredith, then my fiancé, to ride an hour and 40 minutes north to our home in North Jay. They travelled up route 95 to exit 75 in Auburn.
To someone from away, the Lewiston Auburn area seems to be the last populated location headed North from Portland to Jay.
As a traveling chiropractor who travels about Western Maine and it’s small towns, Lewiston Auburn and it’s surrounding communities have become a bi-weekly stop for me to see patients. My time spent in the LA area has allowed me to discover the hidden gems of this city. These are places that visitors, like my parents, often overlook as they pass chain restaurants and car dealerships driving up route 4. One of my favorite places to stop in Auburn is Tripps Primal Farm and Kafe.
Here, everything is made gluten-free.
They also offer some products that are: dairy free, soy free, vegan/vegetarian, Ketogentic cycle-friendly, grain free, etc. Their sandwiches and sweet potato bombs are, as the kids say, “the bomb”.
The kids probably don’t even say that anymore.
The food they make is some of the best in Maine. My wife and I asked them to serve their food and hand-crafted Kombucha at our wedding rehearsal dinner, which turned out amazing. We also had cupcakes made by them for our wedding. There were no survivors in the box when we looked the next morning.
When we stopped here on my parent’s ride back down south to fly home to northern Michigan, my mom was very impressed by how fresh everything was and also the amount of locally grown ingredients used in their foods.
My Business in Lewiston Auburn
Auburn hosts a large number of businesses (when I joined the LA chamber of commerce there was over 1200 listed on the directory). Many of these people I have gotten to know through Think Local, through my role as a personal trainer at Prime 360, and through all the wonderful family members who I meet on my house calls.
If you haven’t heard of it, there is a truly amazing group of local business people who meet each week on Tuesday at the Olive Branch Cafe. The group is called “Think Local!” and the meeting each week at 8:30am is free to visitors, please come join us!
If you have never had a massage or if you are looking for a new place to go, do yourself a favor and visit Revelation Massage in Lewiston. Not only do they schedule online, but they have a large and highly qualified staff to get you feeling relaxed again. It’s not just traditional massage procedures that are available either. They also have something new and exciting to the wellness world, the Float Pod. As a neuroscience geek and brain based wellness doctor, I highly recommend anyone who struggles with “letting go of stress” to go for a float to get those deep brain waves that we all need to fully recover.
House Call Appointments Available
I am receiving a lot of positive feedback about the convenience of my visits. People are saying
“I could imagine a house call chiropractor being in Portland or Falmouth, but it’s amazing you’re available in Lewiston and Auburn!”
I grew up in rural Northern Michigan and I enjoy the similarities of Western Maine to my hometown of Harrison, MI. I went to grad school in St. Louis, Missouri, and I quickly learned I would rather live in the woods than a city. I love the LA area because it brings the convenience of having large variety but also hosts many small business owners, like myself.
I always look forward to seeing my patients, because I empathize with their stress and I know how much getting adjusted improves one’s ability to recover from stress. I love hearing from my patients that they can “just function better” after an appointment.
Everyone deserves to feel their best and I am proud to provide quality chiropractic care to the people in Auburn, in their homes and workplaces.
